To tell you just how useful this is, I buy kitchen staples in bulk. My bulk sugar and salt are stored in large food-grade buckets in my storeroom. I needed to fill my sugar canister in the kitchen, but my sugar was clumped. Using this mixer, I was able to break up the entire bucket of sugar in minutes. Battery life has been solid too, gets me through a full baking session, cake batter plus frosting, without needing a mid-project charge. But it works great and the convenience of just pulling it out of the cabinet and using it anywhere in the kitchen is great! It doesn’t work as well with deep bowls I have from Pampered Chef because it is longer than the regular kitchenAid due to the rechargable battery. It gets in the way of the bowl. But it works great in regular sized mixing bowls. It runs smoothly. It has a function where it starts out slower than the speed you’ve selected which is great because batter doesn’t fly everywhere. It speeds up to normal as it mixes. The battery lasts a long time. I don’t use it often, but it is always ready when I need it and I do not keep it on charge.
