I love kitchen aid, you’re buying “brand name” higher end with them, and I do feel like the quality of this lives up to their name.2. People complain about power, however it does exactly what a hand mixer is designed to do. If you need more power than what this offers then maybe you should be using a stand mixer?2a. I initially felt the same way, that it was lacking power, but it does gradually increase speed as you change it to reduce the flying flour. I love that, it’s thoughtful.3. It IS a little heavy after a small while of mixing around with your arm. I don’t know if this is a complaint of other comparable battery operated mixers though- so maybe it’s the norm, but something to keep in mind.4. Each mixer has to go into the unit in a specific way, there’s an icon on the bottom that shows you how to correctly insert them. They won’t stay in if you don’t put them in correctly, pay attention to this.5. It’s so much quieter than my last corded mixer!6. I’ve used it 4 times so far and haven’t yet recharged the battery. What I am trying to tell you is that this is the first time that I have had to charge it since the initial charge when I first got it a year ago. After using this mixer for a year, I can also tell you that this is the best hand mixer I have ever owned. I own a KitchenAid Corded Hand Mixer, but I never use it. Not since I got this one. To tell you just how useful this is, I buy kitchen staples in bulk. My bulk sugar and salt are stored in large food-grade buckets in my storeroom. I needed to fill my sugar canister in the kitchen, but my sugar was clumped. Using this mixer, I was able to break up the entire bucket of sugar in minutes. But it works great and the convenience of just pulling it out of the cabinet and using it anywhere in the kitchen is great! It doesn’t work as well with deep bowls I have from Pampered Chef because it is longer than the regular kitchenAid due to the rechargable battery. It gets in the way of the bowl. But it works great in regular sized mixing bowls. It runs smoothly. It has a function where it starts out slower than the speed you’ve selected which is great because batter doesn’t fly everywhere. It speeds up to normal as it mixes. The battery lasts a long time. I don’t use it often, but it is always ready when I need it and I do not keep it on charge.
