Our Double-Sided Pastry Counter Top Board is a two-in-one board that will assist you with baking and cooking alike. Made of gorgeous Acacia hardwood, this large and sturdy board is functional and beautiful due to its rich, shimmering colors. The double-sided board features one flat side for rolling dough and one grooved side for carving meat. No need for multiple cutting boards, this long-lasting, high quality accessory has it all.
**Use & Care**
Wash Ironwood Gourmet products in warm, soapy water and thoroughly rinse with clean water. Do not soak. To dry, prop up off of counter to allow all surfaces to air dry evenly. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher.
After drying, rejuvenate and protect the wood by rubbing it down with Ironwood Butcher Block Oil. Apply the oil liberally and allow it to soak in thoroughly before use. Regular application of our Butcher Block Oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood.

Functionally it holds on to the front of the counter with the front lip and prevents spills off the back with the back lip – and it is reversible from fully smooth surface to surface with edge juice / gravy groove. I would recommend using a non skid cloth under if you are kneading or rolling dough as it does move a little bit (or maybe I’m just too rough, I don’t know. Haha.) It’s beautifully made and I keep it oiled up every other use and it’s still shiny and smooth. And it’s beautiful just sitting on the counter as a staple piece. I got sick of those rubber-plastic mats that you put down on the counter for working with dough (pastry, breadmaking) and bought this. It works extremely well. The surface is solid and the lips that a) form the back barrier of the work surface and b) secure the surface over the front of the counter work extremely well. What’s even better is that flipping it over provides an excellent cutting-board work surface for other cooking tasks. This is exceptionally well designed AND executed. The wood material is heavy duty and provides great protection to the counter surfaces. It feels like it will last a lifetime and become a cherished hand-me-down to the next generation. I only wish I hadn’t balked at the price tag and purchased it sooner. It’s worth every penny and then some.
