This Ninja has it done in seconds and then I can just unscrew the blade base which rinses clean (another huge improvement over the standard blender) and screw on the flip top drink cap. The blade is easy to screw on, the cup lid is easy to screw on, and all of it easy to clean. This is really important for older people & kids, who need the ease of attaching things. I’ve ordered a second one for another residence, and my daughter ordered one for her kids to make smoothies this summer. My husband & I use the Ninja every single day. It blends ice, frozen fruit, even fresh ginger. I cannot say enough good about this product! And the value for the $’s is fair. 4.0 out of 5 stars Love this blender, just one design flaw I bought this Ninja Fit to make my morning smoothies. I had been using an old, large blender with a smoothie cup attachment, and didn’t realize how much nicer using this Ninja Fit would be! I usually use protein powder, frozen fruit, ice, and water. Whereas it took lots of pulsing and like 40 seconds to blend with my old blender, this one you can totally pulverize everything in like 15-20 seconds! It’s so powerful! I’ve now tried more combinations because it’s so fast and easy. It’s also much smaller on my countertop. I have been using it a couple times a day for a couple months with no issues. It’s easy to clean.It only has a 16 ounce jar, which sometimes is a little small, I didn’t realize you couldn’t buy a bigger jar like 20 or 24 ounce to use with it, so that was a little bit of a bummer, but I am making it work.The only thing I don’t like, the design flaw I mentioned, is that when you put the blade on, it goes OVER the top to screw on, but then when you put the cover on, it fits INSIDE the top to screw on. So you make your smoothing and the liquid goes all the way to the top, then you unscrew the blade attachment, and there’s a bunch of smoothie coating the threads on the inside of the jar where you are supposed to screw on the lid. So you have to get a paper towel and wipe around the threads on the inside of the jar to put the lid on which is kind of a pain. But the blender itself works so well I’m going to keep using it.Variation: Style: Push to blend
