5.0 out of 5 stars Roller Coaster Review I was so happy with this blender when I first got it to replace my generic made in Germany personal blender that was growing mold under the seals and didn’t blend very well.Well, I’m not happy anymore. Every time I have gone to use my Ninja, it has needed to be charged. I literally charged it yesterday with my smoothie in it, got it to full battery capacity, ran it once to blend my smoothie, and a second time to clean it. Now it’s dead this morning and charging with yet another smoothie in it. I just want a reliable personal blender. Is that so much to ask?Update from a few days later:I charged it TWICE this morning because I knew I’d be using it tonight. IT’S DEAD! After two charges and not being used, it’s dead! And it’s not like I used this thing to death when I first got it either. I have used this blender maybe 9 times since I got it. I’m beyond disappointed. Ninja used to be a good brand.***UPDATE TO THE UPDATE***I registered my blender with Ninja after all of this nonsense, and then I reached out to support. I sent them videos of the issue and they gave me a case number and a phone number to call. I didn’t have to prove anything to them, they just told me they would have to send out a replacement and that I didn’t have to send mine back.I know that shopping for personal blenders is a NIGHTMARE AND A HALF, because they either don’t chop, don’t hold a charge, burn your house down, etc. If you’re going to take the risk to get one anyway, just go with this one. When it works, it pulverizes everything you put in it. When it doesn’t work, Ninja stands by their products and takes care of the issue.I’m updating my review to 3 stars, but if my replacement blender works, it’ll be 5 stars.Oh, and by the way, the customer service dude was really pleasant and spoke English. I was never transferred to India or anything like that.******Hopefully Final Update******So, I got my replacement blender from Ninja, and I love it! I use it about every other day, and I have only had to charge it four times now. It works wonderfully, but the only thing it sometimes struggles with is whole frozen strawberries. Don’t get me wrong, it can pulverize them. It just may take more than one blend cycle, which is fine when you have a blender that actually works, unlike the one I got from Amazon. I can finally wholeheartedly recommend this blender.Variation: Color: Black
5.0 out of 5 stars Much better than others! I decided to buy one of the Ninja Blast Blender when our families four BlendJet Blenders were recalled. We waited over two months for the replacements and they still hadn’t arrived, so I decided to purchase a Ninja and request a refund from BlendJet. The Ninja is such a superior blender. Absolutely love this and will be purchasing additional ones. The power of the Ninja blends solids like frozen fruit and ice incredibly well. I’ve used my Ninja daily for morning protein shakes and they come out super smooth. No chunks of ice leftover like the competitors always had. The shape is much better on the Ninja. It hasis round with a slight squareness to it that makes holding it much more comfortable. The container also has ridges all the way around it that the BlendJet does not have. BlendJet is smooth and round plastic and if it gets any condensation on the outside it can get slippery. The Ninja container also has fill lines on the outside of the container for minimum liquid, ounces, and maximum fill. BlendJet also has ounces called out on their container buy it is etched in the plastic container in the same clear color. It is so much easier to read the Ninja container because the ounces and other increments are black to contrast against the clear container. It is very easy to know how much liquid needs to be in there to make sure you get a great result. The lid on the Ninja is also much better than the competitors. The flip top to drink out of is very secure when closed and won’t leak if it tips over. BlendJets lid needs to be removed to drink your smoothie or shake. There is also a sturdy handle on top of the lid that flips up and down if you choose to use it to carry the blender with you. The competitor uses a strap. The handle is much more convenient to me. The blade is great on the Ninja. I use about six ice cubes in my morning protein shake and it has yet to stop blending because it freezes up from the chunks of ice. Our BlendJets constantly stopped blending with ice in them and would need to be shook up to dislodge the ice and then turn it back on again. Not a problem with Ninja. The buttons for power and start/stop are simple to operate. You simply push the power button the turn it on and then the start/stop button to blend. There is a light indicator the spins around the start/stop letting you know the status of the blender (if it is charged, needs to be charged, etc). Included directions have all of the different light colors on the indicator called so you know exactly what the color means.Battery life has been very good. Blender has been used daily for over two weeks and still hasn’t needed to be recharged. When it arrived it did need to be charged to full capacity and it took about an hour and a half. Not sure yet how long it will take to fully recharged when the indicator lets me know to plug it in. Recharging time isn’t a big deal to me so it’s not of much concern. The base on the Ninja is great. Super easy to grip without worrying that it might lip out of your hand. It also has an excellent shape with the slightly squared centers of each side (same as the fill container has). There is a nonslip rubber seal on the bottom so it won’t slide across the counter while it is operating.Cleaning the Ninja is very easy. I believe the fill container and lid are dishwasher safe, but I hand wash it and let it air dry. Always seemed to have small fruit pieces remain behind (especially blueberries and chocolate) in the base of the BlendJet, while the Ninja hasn’t had that problem.Overall, I am extremely pleased with the Ninja blender. Being able to compare it side by side to its competition made it very easy to see firsthand that the Ninja is a superior product in a very similar price range. Highly recommend giving the Ninja a chance if you’re in the market for a great portable blender. This thing is fantastic.Variation: Color: Cranberry
4.0 out of 5 stars Shocking power that is worth the buy! Variation: Color: Black
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, you get your bang for the buck here! Got these about two weeks ago. They are awesome! I have been using my old nutribullet for the last 10+ years which works well but this is actually perfect for what I need. The container is the perfect size, 16oz. i am using it more for a smoothies, i am going to try to do shakes sometime soon.Pros of this product: Lightweight and portable. Cleans real easy. Nice sturdy base and container give it a great quality feel. Also the instructions and description of how to use the blender and what to look for as far as the indicator lights was very well laid out. The lid as well with the handle is also a big bonus not to mention the flip cap.Cons: the only minor thing for me is that when I make my smoothies using frozen strawberries and other frozen berries is that you will have to hit it for two 30 sec cycles to ensure the berries get completely blended and not form clumps. For me this is no huge issue just something I have discovered and if I have spend 1 min to blend my smoothies instead of 30 seconds, no big deal.I would also recommend buying the accessories cap for the bottom and cover for the blades that are offered through third party. If you do not want to haul around the whole blender with the blades these things work great!I highly recommend this product not for the price alone which for me you get your bang for the buck, but for the ease and versatility it offers for being able to take your favorite, smoothie, shake whatever to the gym or office.Variation: Color: Peach, Stone
5.0 out of 5 stars Worked and now will not charge. Update: I will not hesitate to purchase another product from Ninja! Item only worked for 4 months and will not charge? Will call for support and update this review as needed. Update! Due to the customer service, Ninja has just earned a new customer. I called them and explained what happened to the product I purchased and they are shipping a replacement. The process and customer service was very easy and helpful. I am also very happy that I did not have to deal with an agent that was rude!Variation: Color: Black

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Blender, but a Little Heavy I really like this portable blender. It blends well and is very convenient to take with me, but I do wish there were a way to remove the heavy blending base after blending. The base makes the bottle a little heavy to carry around. If they could make a lighter, removable base for carrying, it would make this blender even better. Overall, I’m still happy with it and find it very useful.Variation: Color: White
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! This blender is Amazing, I wish the battery life lasted a little bit longer but over all the durability, performance and speed of this blade set is amazing. Easy for travel.Variation: Color: Metallic Black
