I really wanted plates to have the little lip edge so it would be easier to scoop up saucy foods. I like this set because it came with dinner bowls as well as the soup bowls. The white plates with the black accent line is a nice and clean palette for all different foods. I like how it all stacks nicely and doesn’t take up a lot of vertical space. It came packaged securely and I didn’t find any chips. My only complaint is the black accent lines on the salad plates. It doesn’t look like the ink was evenly done around the plate.
