5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous, unique, and expensive looking travertine fruit bowl~ I received the “Travertine with Nero Marquina Pedestal” version of this fruit bowl and it is absolutely gorgeous. I love things made of natural materials like travertine because they fit right into my mid-century modern design aesthetic. I also love the neutral tones that look awesome on my quartz kitchen countertops- it actually looks much better in person than in the photos. It looks expensive and unique- like something you’d see on social media or high end home design pages. I love the combination of the beige and black together- it’s actually really unexpected and chic because I normally find fruit bowls and things that are made of travertine in one single color only. The black and beige actually perfectly match my kitchen decor which is the same shade of beige + dark grey/black.One of the things that surprised me so much about this fruit bowl is how heavy and high quality it is. I didn’t realize it was going to weigh so much but that definitely speaks to the high quality of the materials used. I also really love the shape and size of this marble bowl. It has a curved edge to it so it definitely functions as a bowl for fruit and nothing will spill over the edge if you decide to fill it with apples, oranges, bananas, etc. At the same time, it also works as a decorative stand for displaying things. For example, you could put cupcakes, chocolates, a round cake, etc. on it for a birthday or a party. It could even work in a bathroom as a display for things like perfumes or other cosmetics. This is one of those items that looks much better in person than in the photos. The dimensions make it seem like it would be quite small but in person it looks and feels large and substantial. It’s a really great size to put in the middle of a kitchen table or a kitchen island, for example. The price is under $70 right now and that’s a great deal for something made of real travertine and marble. It is high quality and absolutely beautiful- would even make a great housewarming gift for a picky friend with a mid-century modern design. I was lucky to be able to snag this. 5 stars!Variation: Color: Travertine with Nero Marquina Pedestal
5.0 out of 5 stars Heavy, stunning, and absolutely luxe — this is a true centerpiece This BekPooQ travertine fruit bowl is gorgeous. The travertine has that soft, natural matte texture with subtle veining that makes it look high‑end immediately. Paired with the solid black Nero Marquina marble pedestal, it has that modern organic look that feels expensive and intentional — the kind of piece you’d see styled in a boutique or a designer kitchen.Weight & QualityIt’s heavy, in the best way. The stone feels substantial, balanced, and secure on the pedestal. Nothing wobbly, nothing hollow. The pedestal is real marble — deep black with clean white veining — and the contrast against the travertine is striking.Style & UseThis is one of those pieces that elevates a counter instantly. I used mine as a fruit bowl, but honestly it looks beautiful empty as a sculptural centerpiece. It works with modern, organic, minimalist, rustic, or coastal décor. The proportions are perfect — wide enough to be functional, but still sleek.ComplimentsIt’s a showstopper. People notice it immediately, and I’ve already had friends ask where I got it. It looks like something from a high‑end home store, not Amazon.Final ThoughtsIf you want a heavy, luxe stone centerpiece that feels designer‑level and adds instant style to your kitchen or dining area, this is a 5‑star piece. Beautiful materials, gorgeous contrast, and genuinely impressive quality.Variation: Color: Travertine with Nero Marquina Pedestal
5.0 out of 5 stars A polished travertine bowl with real character Variation: Color: Travertine with Nero Marquina Pedestal
5.0 out of 5 stars Elegant with a Variety of Uses This is a really beautiful piece that I got specifically to have by my door to put my keys and badges into, as while I had certain places for these things, they weren’t the best. I’m also someone who will lose stuff if I don’t have things in one spot consistently. This is a heavy piece, which is nice when you have a cat that likes to cause mayhem. The bottom is felted and while simple, it clearly adds a simple elegance to many types of decor. The size is really nice. I could definitely see this as a fruit bowl, with the caveat that the travertine seems to be porous and unsealed, so vigilance would be needed to ensure there was no staining if fruit got damaged, overripe, etc. That would be my primary concern for using it for that. A good, simple workaround would be to take a small piece of wax paper and lay it on the bottom to protect the bowl and have less worry.I do wish my black base had more marbling in the, well, marble, but these are natural stones, and you can only do so much with what the earth gives you. There is a little, and it isn’t highly visible where it sits right now, so that is a low-key issue for me. I would be disappointed if I planned to put it in a spot where that base is more on display, however. It is a bit spendy, but it is also stone and marble, meaning this will last you a lifetime, and there are multiple uses for a dish like this if you ever tire of it as a fruit bowl and want something else for a change. I honestly wasn’t going to get it originally because I don’t need a fruit bowl until it occurred to me I could use it for the very thing I’ve been searching for.Variation: Color: Travertine with Nero Marquina Pedestal
5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful and heavyweight I was very happy with this fruit bowl. It’s a little smaller than I was expecting, but the substantial weight and quality more than make up for that. The travertine bowl and solid black marble pedestal feel very sturdy and well made, with a nice heavy weight that keeps it securely in place on the counter. It has a beautiful modern, organic look and makes an attractive centerpiece even without fruit in it. The contrast between the natural travertine and black marble base is especially striking. It looks great in my kitchen and feels like a much more expensive decorative piece. Just be sure to check the dimensions if you’re expecting a large-capacity fruit bowl.Variation: Color: Travertine with Nero Marquina Pedestal
5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, well made, and very sturdy I have slowly been trying to focus more on the decor in my kitchen and am always on the lookout for attractive ways to organize and store everyday items. This dish is an excellent example of exactly what I am looking for.Calling this a bowl is a little bit of a stretch in my opinion; it does have a concave surface but it’s very slight. I use it to organize small snack items in my kitchen as I try to keep those on hand and have been trying to find an attractive way to do so. This works perfectly. It’s very solidly made – it weighs significantly more than I expected, but in a good way. The travertine is gorgeous and full of beautiful character and nuance.Definitely a favorite piece of decor for me!Variation: Color: Travertine with Nero Marquina Pedestal
4.0 out of 5 stars Great quality heavy piece Very pretty. Very heavy piece the only thing I don’t love is it’s a bit shiny instead of more of a matte material but the quality of the piece is there.Variation: Color: Travertine Beige
