I like the fact that the width and depth are adjustable to fit my shelf needs (within the maximum measurements given by the manufacturer/seller). I also love that the glide rails are “no tools needed”, just peel and stick to the shelf surface. A nice small screwdriver is included for assembly. The pieces are white coated metal and look nice in my white painted cabinet. Being metal the seem to be very sturdy do far. The only thing to watch is to be sure the surface of the shelf on which you affix it is completely level. One of mine is not, so the easy-glide rails that the item sits on are *so* easy glide that the drawer slides forward on its own. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product - Will buy again!! This is a great product. Having said that— beginners beware. I do not think this is a project for beginner DIY’s. I studied the directions repeatedly & thoroughly. I have done many a DIY. These instructions are a challenge. However if you are adept, and patient it will pay off. I needed the 24″ deep by 26″ wide. That is just about the max for this expandable size. The directions show you 2 ways to install. With anchoring screws or just adhesive. I wanted to use anchor screws for the sturdiness of that option. I couldn’t because the sides of the drawer were too high to get a screwdriver in behind the shelf at the appropriate place. I used square wooded slats to raise up the drawer (between the rollers) until I got it inset and lined up – knowing that once that adhesive stuck there was no going back. You could – if you have the room (a taller space) use both adhesive and an anchor screw. Getting your drawer square and stable is important before you secure it in place. I think fiddling with the size would be a real hassle after installation. My drawer is holding very heavy items. It pulls out 15″ leaving about 5-6″ still in the cabinet. This is a huge improvement in my very old and deep cupboards. You have to be realistic about the space that you will sacrifice at the sides (~1″ on each side). 5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! This is great. I bought one of these to use in a pantry closet that was not a fit for any other pull out drawer I found. I decided to try this one and see how it went.First, I’m a 69 year old woman with mobility issues. I’ve done some DIY in the past but find it very difficult now. This unit was easy to assemble and install. I had to read the instructions a couple of times, but that was my problem not the instruction sheet.The first unit is now happily allowing me to pull it out to get to all my OXO containers of pasta and beans without having to pull everything out of the bottom shelf to get to what I was looking for (remember the mobility issues?). As a matter of fact, it was so wonderful that I bought and installed another one for the odd shaped and random items that were hard to organize on a flat shelf. The lip on the drawer does wonders. Things don’t fall out of the back.One consideration is that my pantry doors have interior closing hardware. 5.0 out of 5 stars Where were you all those years?? Wow! this pull out shelf is superb. My 24″ deep kitchen cabinets are a black hole, especially the bottom shelf. Cans and boxes go in and never resurface, often until well after expiration date. Blame my age or my bad knees but fact is it is not easy for me to bend and dive into the cabinet to fish items from the back. So here comes this great shelf/drawer that can be piled with all those previously destined to be lost items, and with a slight pull – all come out of the closet and none can hide quietly in the abyss. I piled mine with lots of heavy items and it seems to work great (grant it, it is brand new so if I see failures I will update here) and I love how it is well secured into the cabinet to keep everything on it safe.
