The blue floral pattern and embossed detailing are elegant without feeling overly decorative, and the overall presentation on the table is genuinely impressive. As shown in the photos, the pieces look cohesive and well finished.In our set, we did not notice any significant color variation or uneven glazing, despite some reviews mentioning inconsistency. That said, we did not examine each piece under close inspection, and the reactive glaze nature means some variation is expected. Visually, everything looks well matched and attractive.The stoneware feels solid and substantial. These pieces are noticeably heavier than our Mikasa Trellis bone china, which gives them a more grounded and durable feel but also means they take up a bit more space and weight in cabinets. The mugs are a good size and feel comfortable in the hand, and the plates and bowls have practical proportions for everyday meals.So far, everything has arrived intact with no chips or cracks. 5.0 out of 5 stars Love, love, love! 3 years ago, we ordered 3 sets of these for 12 place settings since we entertain often. With kids unloading the dishwasher, we’ve had a few chips along the way, and of course, we’ve had a couple broken bowls and small plates over the years due to soapy hands, but the quality is excellent! There have been slight variations in the color on some, but that’s what happens with natural materials and is expected. It’s not enough to complain about. We happened to find matching pasta bowls in a set of 6 which we bought just before Christmas last year. They are such a great addition and the perfect size for more than just pasta. I took a couple of the mugs to use at work and everyone who sees them compliments on their beauty.
