4.0 out of 5 stars Takes some effort but they're beautiful I was looking for white plates that would go with all of my seasonal placemats and decor, but I didn’t want boring cafeteria plates. These immediately caught my eye with their beautiful scalloped design. I wanted two sets of these so that I could have dinnerware for 8 people, but I ended up having to buy three and return one. Between the three sets I was able to switch out the items with imperfections so that I could have 2 perfect sets. Imperfections were dark spots fired into the plate, a sizable slice that had been fired into a bowl and various bumps. I spent the time to do this because I absolutely love the design of these. The scalloped design and satin finish makes any meal, no matter how simple, look beautiful. Things to keep in mind. These are definitely an off white so this might not work for anyone specifically looking for ” white”. Everything fits easily into the dishwasher so no issues there, but the plates take up quite a bit of room, which might be problematic if you have smaller cupboards. They are also prone to scuffing. None of these are deal breakers for me, but they might be for you. Despite the work it took to get here, I am very happy with my new dishes.Variation: Color: WhiteSize: 12-Piece Set
