It replaced an older and smaller air fryer that was on its last legs, and we are thrilled with this purchase.Whoever thought of the double baskets was a genius. It’s so nice to either have overflow space if you need to cook a lot of the same ingredient (using the Match Cook function), or to cook two different items at two different times and temperatures. The Smart Finish feature is also ingenious as it ensures all your food finishes cooking at the same time.This air fryer really does cook everything evenly, and everything we’ve put in it (which has been a lot) has come out beautifully. I love that the entire basket is solid with a non-stick finish, which makes for super easy clean-up.Bonus tip (which we discovered in our espresso machine app), the Phillips HomeID free app has tons of easy and delicious air fryer recipes. You don’t need a Phillips appliance to download or use their app, and all their recipes can be found under the Search button. Some are even for dual basket fryers, and you can save and group your favorites into your own custom recipe books. You’ll find ideas for making full and complete meals, not just chicken tenders and potatoes. We’ve been shocked at how well burgers, steaks, and pork chops cook in our Ninja. 5.0 out of 5 stars The DualZone timing feature is legit voodoo cooking This is our third air fryer, and so far the Ninja DZ201 Foodi has been fantastic.The two-basket setup is easy to use, and the DualZone match-cooking/sync feature is the real star. Being able to have both baskets finish at the same time — or have it start the fries several minutes after the main item so everything lands together — feels like legit voodoo cooking. It takes a lot of the guesswork out of timing dinner.The machine feels well built, the controls are straightforward, and it has been very easy to use right out of the box.A couple of cons: it is fairly loud, especially when both baskets are running, and each basket is smaller than what you get with one large single-drawer air fryer. That is the tradeoff for having two independent cooking zones.Overall, this is a great air fryer if you want better timing and more flexibility. I gave it 4 stars because it does not have a beep for when the food is half through the time like my previous air fryer had. So if you cook something for 30 mins, set alexa or a timer for 15 mins to turn over your food. Easy to clean (I do not have a dishwasher). I will update if there is any change. 5.0 out of 5 stars WOULD BUY IT AGAIN AND AGAIN!!! The Best purchase I have ever made. It doesn’t have to heat up, it cooks so quickly, clean up is Super Easy and it cooks food to perfection. The control panel is So Easy! You can cook both baskets at the same time or cook 2 different food on each side at different temperatures and times. The baskets are a nice size and you can just throw them in the dishwasher whenever you feel like it. There are no foul odors (so far) The size is Big, so make sure you double check the w x h x d to make sure it will fit. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.Variation: Size: 8-QT & DualZone
