The beige upholstery fabric is 100% microfiber, so any spills or stains should clean well. The legs are 1.25 inches in diameter and made of rubberwood, which is good for indoor chair legs (although not as strong as oak or maple). And although the chairs can hold up to 300 lbs, they are on the small side if you plan to use them as dining room chairs. But that is fine with me because they are extra dining chairs for large gatherings. I like the design, which includes “stripes” in the upholstered chair back that wrap around the seat for about six inches.
