I should have know at the price it wasn’t going to last. No I did not purchase the warranty for it. The microwave just felt cheaply made from the beginning the door closes very loud for the size and the legs were wobbly but I needed the microwave so badly I decided to stick it out. It easily fits a full size dinner plate. At 1,000 watts, it heats foods and drinks up plenty fast. For function, and size, it’s 5 stars. I pulled 1 star for a simple reason – I can’t get it to sit still. By that I mean that when I open or close the door, it’s often shifting/moving on the counter. It’s a good little microwave just perfect for my tiny home and I’ve got to get used to the 1000 W power my other one was only $750 and I like this one a lot better I cooked popcorn in it the other day and send it to the popcorn setting and every Colonel popped and it was a perfect time no burnt popcorn. It took a minute to figure out the door safety feature and I had to turn it off because I don’t have kids or nothing and I didn’t like pushing the button just open the door but after I finally understood the instructions to shut it off it’s absolutely perfect. It’s made for reheating and defrosting small things but not to cook gourmet meals in. Look into the detentions inside and out if buying this. It’s perfect for small spaces. It gives me more counter space. It’s perfect for just me and my husband. We just heat up plates of food with it. The glass turntable plate inside is a little over 10 1/2 inches. Just big enough to fit a standard dinner plate. The pasta container I had in the picture was only 7 inches by 7 inches wide. The plug extends around 42 inches. This smaller unit Unfortunately lasted only a little over two years. Although the power still comes on with the display lighting up. The microwave has stop heating up the food. The timer is going, but the magnatron which heats the food has stop working. I paid $108. for this microwave and it would be costly to fix the problem.
