The bowls do get quite hot if filled to the brim with soup, but that’s easy to work around. I like the smaller portioning of the bowls, it helps with being more intentional with food. I find that the smaller plates work well for me (I’m a small person) for dinner and whatnot. The big ones are quite large!Overall, I love these and you can’t beat the price for stoneware.
