Nothing would keep it warm let along hot enough for him to eat. This lunch box so far has worked perfect for us. One of the things I can always get him to eat is what we call dinosaur eggs. It’s the oatmeal with candy dinosaurs in it. What I do is freeze milk (in a soup portion container I have bought on Amazon) and the put the divider in and make a kind of bowl with aluminum foil. Not sure if that’s recommended, but it keeps most of the liquid in a smaller space so the oatmeal gets cooked. It’s kind of heavy for a kid, but thankfully has a shoulder strap my son uses to carry it into lunch. I bought the carrier bag that also has a stop storage so I can put the rest of his lunch in.
