I have used a stand mixer for such a long time, but sometimes miss having a hand mixer. I saw this hand mixer that is cordless and decided to get it so that I can use it anywhere and also take it camping with me.I have so many different Dash kitchen products and have been extremely happy with all of them, so getting this cordless handheld electric mixer from Dash was a no brainer. I knew it would be high quality and work as intended and I was not wrong.I love that there is a rechargeable battery for this beater. It reminds me of all of my husband’s hand tools that have rechargeable batteries. It is so handy to just use the mixer anywhere. My stand mixer is amazing but I can only use it where I have it since it is too heavy to move around. This works so well and I actually like using it much better, especially since there is no cord to worry about.I plugged in the charger immediately upon unboxing but it showed it was already fully charged, so that was great. I don’t know how long it will take to charge when it needs charging but it is super easy to use so I am sure it won’t be a burden at all.I love the size and color of this hand mixer and it has as much power as I will ever need from a mixer. I have never used a hand held mixer for dough and am super excited to use the dough hooks, as well. This is a great trusted brand and I would buy anything from them!This beautiful cordless hand mixer worked right out of the box with a full charge. It’s sleek, nice looking and not too heavy even with the battery. Doesn’t take up a lot of room for storage and I am so thrilled there is no cord! I’ve been using my grandma’s 50+-year-old hand mixer and have never wanted to upgrade for nostalgic purposes until this mixer! It is a game changer. I don’t know how much crusty old hidden batter splatters from the 70s is on the cord of my old mixer lol. No more trying to wrap the cord around it and store it. This is very easy to clean and the beaters are easy to pop in and pop out. I love the power of this also! My old beater had six setting so I was a little bit worried about this one only having four but no worries needed! The power is fantastic and even on the lowest setting has no problem through multiple boxes of cake mix or homemade cookie dough. Bonus is the dough hooks which I haven’t used yet but I’m so excited to try! I don’t have to drag out my stand mixer for pizza dough anymore. I always felt like my stand mixer was always “too qualified” for the job at hand and they never get to the very bottom crumbles of the bowl. Of course with the hand mixer you get down to every little bit of dough or batters on the bottom. It easily breaks up hard chunks of brown sugar also.A+++++

It never occurred to me that I might like to have a cordless hand mixer, but this tool from DASH made me reconsider that view. This is a very nicely made hand mixer, with a fine speed control and a powerful motor. There is plenty of speed to whip up eggs or cream in short order, and you get used to not having a cord to tangle you up pretty quickly. It does come with some ominous warning stickers that tell you not to operate the mixer on high speed for more than 30 seconds to protect the motor, but I’ve used this thing for typical cooking uses/duration and haven’t seen any problems. What is most surprising with this mixer is how quiet it is, even at full speed. It only comes with one battery, so that might be a problem down the road. The price is a bit high for the cordless feature…you could buy a great corded hand mixer for around half this price. For now, I’m really enjoying the freedom without a cord, but in a heavy use situation, you’ll want one that plugs in.

This has a battery that can be taken out to charge and used in other Dash kitchen items. It has 4 speeds plus a turbo speed for those time when you need the extra boost. It is lightweight and easy to handle. I have no used the dough hooks yet only because I usually do bread in my stand mixer, but the beaters work well. The speed boost is nice as well. This set comes with the mixer, a battery, the battery charger and a pair of beaters and dough hooks. Everything you need to get started in the Dash cordless world. It is quiet when in use. It is also easy to store, but one downfall I am seeing with it is the back of the mixer is not completely flat, so while it will sit up if placed just perfectly, it will fall if bumped. I put the beaters in the dish washer and they washed up great with no residue left on them. The color is called french grey which is just a light grey, but its pretty. I will continue to use this as I do love it, just don’t like that the back is not flat.

Overall, I like this mixer, but there are definitely some pros and cons.Pros: I absolutely love the color and the modern look. It’s easy to charge, and I really like that it comes with both beaters and dough hooks. Not having a cord is convenient, especially when you’re moving around the kitchen, and the battery life has been great so far.Cons: Surprisingly, it actually takes up a little more storage space because you have to find a place for the charging block, whereas with a corded mixer, I can just wrap the cord around the mixer and put it away. I also wish it could stand upright on its side for storage.I did notice that with really thick mixtures, such as semi-firm cream cheese, the mixer can stop while mixing even at a higher speed. It does quickly try again once you turn it off and back on, but it’s something to be aware of if you frequently make very thick mixtures.Overall, it works well for everyday baking and has a sleek, modern design, and seems durable. While it has a few quirks, I’m still happy with it, and I think the price is reflective of the quality.
