Don’t throw the clear rubber type feet, they stay on the rack! Anyhow, I won’t use the rack as much, the pan itself is what I need most. It’s superb high quality, as all caraway products are. Completely non stick and toxin free. The price is worth it when you consider your health, and how you’re not cooking with toxins. That makes it completely worth it. It’s an extremely heavy pan, because it’s serious quality yall. This is the best roasting pan I’ve ver bought. At the time of purchase it was on sale for 174.99. For years I have struggled with non-stick pans, aluminum pans, etc. and all have failed to provide a perfectly brown result without ‘sticking’. I use butter in my recipe, and butter can burn and stick. But not in this pan. This prima donna gives nothing less than a stellar performance for a wipe down cleanup, and a thick and flat guaranteed surface bottom. This is hefty, solid, and assures you it will not ’round out’ the bottom regardless of how high the heat may be. Not to mention it is stunning! Stunning! I almost hated having to use it the first time. I felt like it should have been framed instead. Absolutely beautiful! I got the black and gold, and boy, it was worth the extra few dollars for this elegantly rich combination. Heavy? You betcha! You know you’re carrying a ‘real’ pan of superior quality when you heft this beauty into your oven. I can never imagine this pan being able to rust.
