I have several rings and I’ve always just left them sitting on my dresser with other daily-use items. There have been many times in the past where they’ve ended up falling or just being hidden under something else. I’ve often had to go searching for them.However, now that I have this, I have one simple, safe place to always put my rings. I love that.The tray is well made and I have zero complaints, whatsoever, about it. The walnut is very well finished, smooth and consistent throughout. It honestly feels very high-end–not like it’s some cheap laminated wood tray. The fit of all pieces is also excellent. There are no loose, sloppy seams or anything and it feels and looks quite sturdy. The velvet lining is also attractive, soft, and is applied well. All in all, the tray just looks and feels great.At the asking price of $9, this tray is a very good deal. Yes, it’s small and simple, but it’s solid wood and very well built. Getting that quality at this price is pretty rare in my experience.So, this is an easy 5-star review and I strongly recommend it!

There has been several times when I go to put them back on, I end up on my knees looking under the bed or behind the night stand for something. This Wooden Jewelry Tray has solved that issue. It is a nice size, not to big, not too small…. just right! I put a dime in the tray to show you a size perspective, so I hope that helps.The walnut wood is beautiful and nicely finished. It is lined with a black velvet material that is soft to touch and keeps the item from slipping around even when the tray gets bumped. As I am using it, I have peace of mind that what I put in it will be there when I get up in the morning, almost like it is being presented to me like a gift (rather than the non-special thing of scooping items off of the nightstand). I’m loving it!

I have a few items I wear almost daily, and to not have to dig into my jewelry box each time is a real time saver, and this tray helps keep items from getting lost or rolling off a tabletop. The velvet bottom is a nice base that’s safe for all jewelry types and the wooden edge is another nice touch. It does appear to be real wood, and not a plastic replica. It’s got a decent weight to it so it doesn’t shift around.As for size, it holds a few pairs of earrings and earring backs (see pictures). It’ll also hold a small bracelet. I would not recommend it for necklaces unless that’s the only thing you plan to place there. It would probably be good for a few rings also (though I tend to prefer a ring keeper for those).-1 star because the velvet bottom attracts lint and dust FAST and it’s not easy to remove once there. I tried a sticky lint roller, which not only didnt remove much lint but also left the surface kind of sticky. I suppose you could try to vacuum it, but I get nervous bringing a vacuum near jewelry.

It measures 3.7” x 3.7”, a small enough size that can even sit on top of my jewelry box to have my favorite pieces of jewelry ready to wear. What I really love is the black velvet lining because I also use this tray to take pictures to showcase jewelry that I care to review on Amazon. Black velvet seems to be the gold standard in jewelry cases for maximum sparkle and contrast. No more looking for appropriate backgrounds here. I also like the rounded edges of the walnut frame around the velvet.Good value and great workmanship for a little item that makes everyday of living a little easier! Highly recommend.

I think the best use you can give to it is as a secure place to put down whatever jewelry you wear at the time, like temporarily.Hear me out… you come home after a long day or night out and just want to relax… okay, instead of just taking your earrings, rings, etc off and putting them on your night stand, the bathroom, the living room table or wherever you feel like as you walk around the house…now you have this little tray where you know you can always use it for this purpose. Then, you can just forget about it, go to bed, relax, do what you need to do. The next day you can wake up and know exactly where you put your things, and do what you need to do (wear them again, put them back to where you usually store them).I feel like is too small for a key tray. Definitely the best use I found was as a tray to put stuff temporarily.
