The assembly was fast as well. I will say that we made normal size cup cakes and to my surprise they did fit. I do believe when they say it fits a certain amount, they mean of the smaller variety, not mini size but, a size up from mini. The plastic alternatives looked cheap and something I’d be embarrassed to present, especially when I’m paying over a hundred dollars for decent tasting cupcakes.
