What was delivered to me is a set for six in starry blue. These photos I was looking at are from 2025 and clearly the packing for shipping has vastly improved. The box is quite heavy and was offered some protection within a second box. Upon opening there were several cardboard spacers as well as individual boxes with the set pieces divided in half for each box, foam placed carefully between each porcelain plate and bowl then secured with clear wrapping with the utmost care.Not a single chip or crack in any of the 24 pieces. The glaze is well done, colors vary slightly as expected with one of a kind pieces in this type of set. The color and finish are gorgeous, and they have a substantial, quality feel to them. I originally found this set while specifically looking for dishes advertised as lead free, which was important to me.They also seem surprisingly sturdy. My children are not always especially gentle or careful when washing dishes, and they have managed to break plenty of mine over the years. So far, none of these have broken, chipped, or cracked despite that.They are a little more expensive than some basic dinnerware sets, but after seeing them in person and using them, I think the price is worth it for the quality and appearance.I did notice one small manufacturing imperfection. One of the bowls has a tiny speck of what almost looks like plant material or other debris that was caught underneath the glaze during manufacturing. It is very small and does not affect the use of the bowl, but it is worth mentioning.Aside from that minor flaw, I have been really impressed.
