5.0 out of 5 stars Finally...Square Black Dishes with Square Bowls I’ve been looking for black, square dishes with square bowls, forever. For some reason the square dishes were always paired with round bowls. Why? Anyway, I ordered these on the 17th and they arrived on the 20th – this is super fast delivery for Hawaii. Also, I took a chance that they would travel that distance intact. As luck would have it, they were all in one piece! They’re beautiful. The sheen, color and design is lovely. My husband even said, “I love these!” Which shocked the heck out of me because I don’t think I’ve ever gotten more than a, “it’s alright,” and usually a, “meh,” out of him. But they are very nice. There were a few teeny, tiny scratches on a couple of the large plates, but honestly they were so small you could only see them under the brightest light and only if you were looking for them. The base of the dishes had some rough textures in a few small areas, so we took a 3M green scrubber to those areas and smoothed them out so they wouldn’t scratch each other as we stacked them. This worked very well. 2 of the plates had a very slight wobble, but we use placemats or a tablecloth, so it isn’t an issue for us. All-in-all, these dishes are a great, look, quality and value for the money and I’m so happy I finally got my square bowls. I highly recommend.
