5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome! Warning! There is a fake Staub website out there stealing peoples money. They will show super discounted items on the site. Its fake!! Don’t use them. They are not legitimate. As for this one from Amazon, it’s small but mighty! I bought this to replace the umpteen cheep baking sheets we keep buying every six months that warp and have irremovable grease stains. I just got this yesterday and have only used it once to make a baked potato, but I love it so far! Some of the butter from the foil spilled out (as usual) and was hard scrape off once it cooled. But I got most of it off while it was still in liquid form. I think that normal for cast iron though when butter gets baked in. Anyway, this is fantastic!
5.0 out of 5 stars Best purchase ever I purchased this griddle pan in Sept 2021 through Amazon warehouse. Came in perfect condition at a discount. I had gone through 2 prior griddles from other brands that warped and lost non stick. This Staub Plancha is solid and performs awesome. I make pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grilled cheese, grilled hotdogs, burgers, and cook chicken breast on it just to name a few. It cooks wonderfully once you get used to how high to make the flame, for gas I use low to medium, once heated up its hot and maintains the heat. Clean up is not an issue. I let the pan cool down. If it has stuck on residue I run very hot water over it and then use a plastic bristled scrub brush and it all comes off easy. No warping and no rust is the best part. Love this griddle.
5.0 out of 5 stars Heavy but great! This thing is heavy but overall heats pretty evenly. There is a learning curve to enameled cast iron but once you get the cooking heat aspect down it is a breeze to use. I found it somewhat a pain to clean but that can be helped with a specific enameled cast iron cleaning gel.
5.0 out of 5 stars Makes leftovers taste a 5 star meal! Great for Reheating Leftovers and grilling eggs, fish, meat, etc. Back glossy part scratches easily on my oven range but the front i used a steel wool ball to scrub hard on the food that got stuck and the finish did not scratch at all very good quality. You still have to season the pan or it’ll stick. To season you have to heat the oil on pan to smoking point then add cold oil immediately and turn off the gas then wait for it to cool.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great induction-compatible plancha/griddle I struggled to find a griddle pan for an induction cooktop and this plancha fits the bill. Works well for pancakes, fajitas, and everything else I threw at it!
