Why do they even make cookbooks that don’t lay flat!!! Idk but it’s not a problem anymore. Perfect size; LOVE the glass protector. There’s enough lip to put my iPad or phone on it if I need.     5.0 out of 5 stars Much prettier than I one I had been using I had a cookbook holder that used to be a light wood but after a few years, I chalk painted it a turquoise to go with my kitchen. It had an acrylic cover. The cover had gotten scratched and the paint was wearing off so I treated myself to a new cookbook holder. This one has a glass cover so I think it will hold up better.     5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE!!! To be honest- I spent more than I wanted to on this… but I’m glad I did. It’s beautifully made and I love it. It’s stayed on my counter since I got it. But, it folds flat and could be stored away easily if need be. It holds all of the different sizes of cookbooks that I have open, and protects from any unfortunate splashes that may occur 🤪. I don’t typically use my phone or iPad for recipes, but I’m sure the ledge on the front would accommodate that, too. (I use it for holding recipe cards.)
