Appreciate the combination of design and engineering.Doors are amazing. Both open up at the same time. Great design! I compared this to the Breville, and this one is much easier to load and unload food with.Interior is coated, so cleaning is easier. Many airfryers lack this ability.Compared to another air fryer I had, the french fries and hashbrowns are crispier.Stainless steal is fingerprint resistant and easy to clean.Very spacious, can fit a duck.The LEDs through the stainless steel is very nice looking.Cons:The packaging tape is a bit too sticky and required extra cleaning of the residue.It’s not as loud as my previous air fryer, but the sound level is okay, like a microwave oven. It can be improved a bit.There should be a guard at the top to prevent food splatter from sticking to the heating elements and make cleaning the top interior easier, but most air fryers don’t have this either.The heating element clicks on/off to maintain temperature control. This could be engineered better to stay on throughout and modulate the temperature another way.Overall, I’m happy with this purchase, and it is my first Midea product. The serious issue is you can’t find the odd 13(width) *11 wire rack (which the roast pan & fry basket must rest on) on Amazon. I tried a 12.69 (width) and it failed to rest on the self securely.Also You can’t buy additional parts for this Flexify Pro French Door model on the Midea website, when you clicked on the link you got a “model doesn’t exist” error. That’s when I found this air fryer oven combo, and it seemed like a good way to save some counter space.After using it for a while, I’m really happy with it. It’s compact but has plenty of room for everyday cooking. I use it several times a day.Breakfast is usually toast or flatbread, lunch is often lamb chops, and dinner is baked sweet potatoes. Everything cooks evenly, and the sweet potatoes actually finish faster than they did in my old air fryer.I also like the reheat function and the pizza setting, which my old oven didn’t have. Had no major issues with it though the controls were a bit confusing at first. About 3 weeks ago while I was cooking something it just shutoff and refused to come back on again. I’ve only lightly used this oven since March. This was my first ever Midea product, so far I’m not impressed with the quality, or their support.Their support is a bit frustrating. They kept asking multiple times for the same information and still getting the information wrong in their replies. They are supposed to send a refund check for the item, let’ see if that happens. I thought they would offer to repair the unit or send a replacement which is what I wanted since I really liked the oven.Overall I’m disappointed.
