They are plastic with a thinner outside layer that does make it easy to scrape the sides of a bowl or pan to get all the batter/dough or sauce off the sides.You could also use these to cut dough or thin pieces of cheese.I like that they come in a variety of colors. They arent too big or small, they are easy to clean & store since they are thin & stackable too. They aren’t too thick or thin, they are flexible like it says but not super flexible to where they will bend when using them. They are smooth & easy to use. Fairly priced & make nice kitchen tools, decent quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars From Scraping To Cleaning You Will Wonder What You Did Without Them I am reviewing the PVKRIO Flexible 5 Piece Textured Dough Cutter And Bowl Scraper Set In Colors Green, Orange, Blue, Pink, White Measuring 4 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ each. I spend a good deal of time in my kitchen on most days, and am usually on the lookout for tools that help make food preparation a bit easier. This set of 5 scrapers has been something I have been reaching for very often since they have arrived. The first thing I noticed was how well the scraper fit into my hand. The flexibility allows me to mold it to any corner, which helps when I am scraping a bowl or container clean. As you can see from my photo, I was able to do a clean sweep with it in my yogurt container, which grabbed nearly all of the yogurt that I would normally throw away, giving me an extra tablespoon or so of yogurt to eat. At this rate, within a few months, this tool will have paid for itself. I found the cleanup to be easy, with no nooks and crannies clean. The set is also easy to store, as they do not take up much room in my kitchen drawer, which is a big plus. Another important feature is that they do not scratch any surface you use them on, so they could be used for various types of cleaning without worries of damaging your surfaces with scratches or nicks. I appreciate having a set of 5, as I will probably give a few as gifts and keep the rest as spares for myself. With unlimited ideas for usage, these are a real success for me, and I am so glad to have them at my disposal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Flexible, yet Rigid - Good Grip Wow, for such a simple tool, someone put a lot of thought into this little thing. I wanted a scraper which would allow me to get every last bit of my batter out of the bowl, but I wanted something rigid enough to battle the stickier recipes, and most of all, clean up easily. The typical rubber scrapers with a handle just weren’t doing it. I really like these scrapers. They are big enough for my large hands to grip comfortably, but also work for my wife too. One subtle feature is that they have a textured surface around the edges to allow for a secure grip. The straight edge cuts dough beautifully, and the curved side amazingly fits the contour of my two favorite bowls perfectly. One swipe around, with just the slightest pressure, and I have all the batter out and ready to work. They clean up easily and look good too. I’ve already used one at least a dozen times with no real sign of wear, and even when the edges do start to dull or wear down, this pack comes with five pieces, so I’m set for a while. You get a lot for you money!

They are rounded on one side, which is ideal for scraping dough out of the mixing bowl. The flat side works perfectly for scraping dough or cutting through dough on the counter. They do have some flexibility to them so they won’t crack if you bend them a bit. They are easy to wash, and the slightly raised texture makes them easier to grip. Their size is comparable to other brands. The only possible negative is that they are a bit thinner than other brands. While in use, this makes absolutely no difference, and they seem to be holding up well. The thinner size does make me wonder if they’ll last as many years as my old dough scraper. However, receiving five at the listing price makes these far less expensive even if they only last a couple years each.
