I do have a 4 burner stove, but when cooking large batches of holiday meals, I honestly could use another burner sometimes. This set includes an extra burner and would be great for someone that lives in a small place and just needs a small little cooking burner.The other amazing thing I love about this set is that the burner fits down in the largest pan and then all the other pans sit neatly on top of each other. It is truly amazing how much space this set actually saves! I am shocked! The design of this nesting set is incredible and such a space saver! To have four pans and a burner all in such a small space is something I never expected, but really need. I could not be more pleased.The safe ceramic nonstick does not use any harmful chemicals at all so that is a requirement in my kitchen. I always hand wash my pans and with this type of pan it is a definite requirement to hand wash the pan and to not use too high of heat. I love how small they are and how light they are to use. It looks very well made the the ceramic coating is nice and very non stick. They barely take up any room in my kitchen cabinets, and that’s probably the biggest feature. I fried up some eggs and it turned out great. The electric stove base is great for making hotpot on your kitchen island, provided that your island has an outlet to plug it in too. Everything is very easy to clean and is dishwasher safe and oven safe if you remove the silicone handles. So simple to use you don’t need directions. The bottom heats up quickly and the pans truly are nonstick. The base has 3 levels of heat (low, medium & high), with everything in between. The whole set nests together, which makes them easy to store. I put mine in the top of the dishwasher and it came out as clean as when I got them. I will say the outside does scratch a little easier than I would like, but honestly that doesn’t bother me, I don’t need the outside of them to look great for them to work. Since these nest they condense down to 7 1/4 inches tall when all nested together. They have rubber handles over the ceramic so they are easy to pick up and hold even when hot. I love this set and will be using it a lot. It shows in the picture the rubber pieces come separately, but they were put on already when I got the set. There’s a grill pan and a fry pan that are the same size, a sauté pan, a stockpot, a glass lid, a metal lid, silicone holders for the handles, and a felt pad to protect the non stick surface when nesting the cookware for storage. Everything pretty much fits inside the stock pot. It’s very convenient to stack them and slide them into the cupboard, especially when there’s not lot of shelf space for large items.Each pan is coated with a gray non-stick ceramic surface. It works very well to release food that’s cooked with high heat. I have even fried eggs and had them slide out of the pan. The two lids can be used for any of the four pots and pans. The glass lid has crescent shaped handles on each side of the knob on top. They can be rotated up to form an easy to use grip for lifting the lid. Food heats evenly in this cookware and I have been very pleased with everything I’ve cooked in the pieces. I usually use them on my gas stove, but the two times I used the electric burner, it has cooked food to my liking as well. The burner has a knob to push along a line of three heat settings. I have used it in the middle, near setting 2, with good results.My experience is that ceramic non-stick loses this feature after months of use. So far, mine are holding up nicely. The pieces are dishwasher safe, but I like to hand wash them to help extend the life of the coating. First and foremost, I love that it stacks perfectly together and takes up a minimal amount of space. It’s perfect for small spaces. I actually wanted this to put in my camper to give me more cooking space, so the fact that it takes up a minimal amount of space was super important. I also like the silicone handles BUT lesson learned, don’t cook with them on because they get super hot. I used the largest pot to boil water to make spaghetti. On high, it brought the pot of water to a full rapid boil in less than 15 minutes. It’s really easy to use, clean, and store. The pots feel heavy duty and durable.
