The size of the 3 crocks is 2.5 qt and they held enough food for a small gathering. The lid holders are an awesome addition. Warm is very low heat and I would imagine if food was placed in warm it would keep the food warm. The dials are misleading; the temps are warm, low and high; the in between marks on the dial are for looks. It is very lightweight without the crocks in it.
