4.0 out of 5 stars Function well These cushions are 2″ thick foam that has a medium firmness. The cloth covers are well made but the U shaped back isn’t as tight fitting as the rest of the cushion. The instructions say to warm the foam so it will expand fully. I threw them in the clothes dryer at low heat for 15 minutes and they were all fine. When placed on a hard seat they offer some cushion. I placed them on our upholstered dining chairs to give a little mote high and cushion. The beige color matched our beige linen chairs. There is a rubberized bottom of the cushion to prevent slipping. The zipper makes it easy to remove and wash if soiled. There are ties at the back of the cushion if you need to tie them on a wooden chair. They can be tucked underneath or cut off if not needed. The measurements were a little confusing length and width was correct but the way my chair rounded at the back they did not quite fit.
