Product Description
The dutch oven, also known as a cocotte, features a round bottom that facilitates effortless stirring without sticking. The domed lid is specially designed to retain moisture by returning flavorful vapors. The lid can be used either in the oven or on the stovetop and can be removed to finish cooking. Generously large and deep, the dutch oven can be used for braising, stewing, browning and slow cooking, all in the same vessel, making it an excellent choice for one-pot meals.
5.0 out of 5 stars Cooks evenly! Cleans SUPER easily! I Love my new All-Clad Dutch Oven. I do wish it came with a correct item number so I could register it. Also, I wish it came with cleaning instructions…ANY instructions, ANY warranty, etc. Basically, I received the pot- well packed, but, JUST the pot.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Dutch Oven I purchased this Dutch oven to replace a Lodge oven that had seen better days-it’s performing marvelously…and it’s so shiny
5.0 out of 5 stars High-quality pot that does it all Love, love, love this pot. It’s fantastic for braising in the oven or on the stovetop. The lid keeps the liquid in, so there’s no mucking about with foil to seal it. It holds enough to feed a small family, and is still light enough to comfortably lift in and out of the oven, and manage one-handed in the sink when you’re washing it.It’s also big enough to cook a pound of spaghetti, and has enough of a flat bottom to sear meat. I’ve used it for stews, braises, pasta, some shallow frying, and even a skillet dinner in a pinch. This dutch oven has quickly become my favorite pan. If I had to take one pot to a desert island, this would be it.I had a heavy cast iron dutch oven that I was replacing because the enamel cracked. I was on the fence about switching to stainless, but gave it a go because I’m having more trouble handling the weight. I have no regrets. The stainless is not a compromise – it cooks just as well or better for everything I’ve tried, and then cleans up beautifully when I’m done.All-Clad is not cheap, and I can’t yet say how this pot will stand the test of time, but first impressions are that it is solidly made, well-designed, and seems like it will last for decades. 10/10, no notes.
5.0 out of 5 stars Buy it you’ll love it. I use this pot 75 * of the time. It’s a great pot well worth its cost.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worth it Beautiful with All-Clad quality. Heats evenly. Nice size for roasting. Nothing sticks which makes cleaning very easy. The pot is sturdy but not overly heavy like cast iron
5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Pot This is my favorite pot for braising now. It goes from the stovetop into the oven at all temperatures. I no longer have to be concerned about those black handles and pot tops that can’t exceed a certain temperature. The bottom is wide enough to brown meats before baking using one less pot. The pot top and handles are welded on so no wobbling involved either. This pot is well worth the price. It is high quality material and durable. You will enjoy cooking with this pot.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent buy I was looking for a Dutch oven that was not too heavy. This one works beautifully.
