There is almost no ornamentation except for a little knurling on the handle of some items. Most edges are squared off but finished, so there are no sharp corners. The five various tweezers are useful for handling and arranging small and delicate items, and the spoons are a nice size for serving individual plates. The spatula has a more substantial handle than the spoons and feels good in the hand. The lightly textured towel (the tenth “piece” of the set) is about one foot square with nicely bound edges but otherwise unremarkable. The roll-up pouch seems well made and finished.The spoons are of fairly substantial construction, but they can easily be bent by hand to change the angle between spoon and handle. The tweezers and spatula seem to be made of somewhat harder steel. The steel is dark anodized, though some edges show lighter color, indicating that the dark finish may wear or scratch with use. The full set weighs about 25 ounces.The “WHY CHOOSE US?” graphic on the description page is a bit misleading. It says this set “Comes with rasp grater set and silicon brush” but it did not; that description seems to be an error, in that none of the other descriptions or graphics on the page mention or show a grater or brush.This is a good set of utensils for food preparation and presentations, though it might be a bit light-duty for a commercial kitchen.

As a culinary enthusiast that cooks a variety of dishes and desserts, this set is fantastic! I like that it has its own storage pouch to keep all pieces together neatly. It has everything you need for plating with precision…different types of tweezers for placing microgreens, gold leafing, and other such adornments on dishes. And I also love the narrow-tipped spoon that is perfect for delicately saucing items.All of the implements are lightweight and thoughtfully designed to be easy to handle and maneuver with, which I appreciate. The pieces are all stainless steel, and therefore dishwasher-safe, but given their more delicate use, I plan to hand wash them – this is also suggested by the manufacturer for better longevity vs. the dishwasher. Overall, this is a very handy, chic, and modern plating tool set…the implements look and feel well made, and worth the price point. I look for this set to last me many years!
