Plain water ONLY. This copper is uncoated on the inside, so we do not recommend putting any liquid with a PH lower than 6.5 inside. If you stick to to just PLAIN WATER only, you and your beautiful pitcher should be friends for a long time! Please do not use any synthetic alkali water that contains added minerals, these minerals are usually salt, and salt water causes corrosion.

Is this pitcher dishwasher safe?

Due to this jug being pure solid copper, it is NOT dishwasher friendly. Don’t spoil its beauty, hand wash every time.

Can I put hot drinks in my pitcher?

NO. Due to this pitcher being uncoated inside, and made from solid copper – 1. You’ll burn yourself, making it unsafe – 2. The uncoated layer of copper will react with the inside of the vessel making more copper leach out into the contents.
