Why We Love It: Key Features of This Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Saucepan with Lid

  • Fully Bonded Tri-Ply Construction: An aluminum core sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel spreads heat quickly and evenly across the pan, preventing hot spots when simmering delicate sauces or grains.
  • Thoughtful Vessel Geometry: High side walls and a smaller surface area minimize splatters, reduce evaporation, and contain liquid while whisking, paired with a flared rim for clean, drip-free pouring.
  • Chef-Inspired Riveted Handle: Engineered specifically for a chef's underhand grip, the classic riveted handle provides steady balance and precision control when moving a full pot around the stovetop.
  • Broad Cooktop & Oven Versatility: It performs on any cooktop—including induction—and transitions safely into the oven or broiler up to 600°F for flexible everyday cooking.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product. I’ve had this pot for almost 3 months and have been very satisfied. This was a risky buy due to the price of the pot, but it turned out to be the perfect size and of excellent quality. The handle is “permanently attached” using two large bolts that go through the base of the handle and the body of the pot. Despite being a little thin and a little long, the handle is an adequate size and it’s size made easier by the length of the handle. While I don’t foresee myself breaking the handle off, the handle is thinnest at the base where it meets the body.Since this purchase I have researched the brand a little closer and found some interesting user feedback. A lot of reviews on the saute pans complain of discoloration or sticking with a difficult cleaning process. I haven’t had any of these issues and the instructions state to heat the pan, then add oil and then add food. In following this (very basic and very common) practice I’ve generally preserved the surface of most of my pans. In regards to this product it has been easy to clean every time. The instructions also mention not to hit the hot pan with cold water from the tap as that could cause warping that isn’t covered by the lifetime warranty.Regarding warping, some sale items from All Clad had reviews stating that their product wasn’t balanced. Many had photo evidence of the pan not sitting flat on the counter or the burner – this was not the case with my product. It is perfectly balanced and sits flat on any surface that is also flat. All in all, an excellent product to keep an eye out for when on sale but be wary of where those sale items are coming from.Variation: Size: 2 Qt Saucepan with Lid

5.0 out of 5 stars Favorite size pan. This is my favorite size 1 1/2 qt pan since kids gone and just the two of us now. Used most often to cook beans, rice or quinoa (vegan). One quart too small unless just reheating something. Bought two of these and two 2qt. pans, but these used more often. As with all my All-clad products of MC2 and Stainless D3 this is excellent for what it was made for. It is a professional pan that will produce professional results if used correctly. I replaced all my Farberware, Chef’s Secret pans and T-fal with All-clad and Matfer Bourget, plus cast iron. These are so much better for health than nonstick. Use Bar Keepers Friend to clean All-clad on a regular basis and will keep looking like new. Because of high price, advise to do as I do, and waite for sales. I add to my collection every year around the holidays.Variation: Size: 2 Qt Saucepan with Lid

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best quality cookware After many decades of cooking, these are my favorite cookware. The heat distributes nicely. It is sturdy and cleans up easily and doesn’t discolor. My only complaint is the covers of these (and all the All-Clad cookware) dents too easily. The style of the cover looks nice but the style causes the cover to get dents/bends on the edge. You have to take extra care not to drop the cover or you will definitely dent it. Other than that, this cookware is great, I have many All-Clad pieces.Variation: Size: 2 Qt Saucepan with Lid

5.0 out of 5 stars Great size for all your smaller cooking needs All Clad is just the best! I used to have 2 of this size pan, both disappeared in a move…so happy to have this size back in my kitchen! Perfect for smaller dishes, heating soup, making gravy or sauces, heating frozen/canned veggies…LOVE it!Variation: Size: 2 Qt Saucepan with Lid

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pot This pot came in perfect condition. And was my solution for making a great custard for ice cream. The temperature is very consistent and heats the milk and cream to the right temperature without burning or curdling. The pot is easy to clean and the pouring lip makes pour the custard into the ice maker.Variation: Size: 2 Qt Saucepan with Lid

5.0 out of 5 stars AllClad 3D Stainless Steel Pot This is a good All Clad Stainless Steel Pot. The only thing I don’t like about it is the sides are too tall. I kept this pot and use it but would not buy this pot again due the the very tall sides. It works well on my GE Glass Cooktop service.Variation: Size: 2 Qt Saucepan with Lid
