5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful set of dishes! Note added: One huge flaw…These dishes are designed in New York, but like so many other things, are actually made in China, which seems to be a dirty little secret, since you cannot find any reference to this until you have a piece of the dishware in your hands and look at the underside. I was a bit put off when I received a strange, quite negative message from the company stating if I had a complaint or noticed any flaws when the dishes arrived, I should contact them right away. I’d noticed a few reviews were negative and remarked re flaws, but liked the look of this set too much to worry. The dishes I received are so pretty, were packed flawlessly, and had maybe a couple really teeny tiny, subtle spots I can’t even call imperfections. I doubt anyone else will ever notice them, since the dishes are so attractive. I got them to replace a set of Corelleware I decided were just too lightweight and not my style and an old, old set of Fiestaware I love except for the heavy weight, which is way too much now for my old hands. This dish set is perfect for me. I love the pale green color. It’s classy and comfortable❣️I do NOT, however, appreciate Famiware’s and Amazon’s seeming collusion in not mentioning “made in China.”Variation: Color: Light GreenSize: Serves 4 (12pc)
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice quality I looked a long time for new dinnerware. Years. I made it too difficult but landed on the perfect choice. After using for a couple of weeks I ordered a second set in order to have service for eight.I previously had Fiestaware, and over the years my collection got smaller and I fell out of love. These dishes are the perfect balance between stoneware and porcelain. Not too heavy, just a really nice weight. I don’t care for busy patterns and wanted colors that would go with most anything else. They also arrived very well packaged.I also got a set of mugs, and am waiting for pasta bowls.Overall this is a great value – price, size, feel, dishwasher/microwave friendly. And they’re beautiful.Variation: Color: MulticolorSize: Serves 4 (12pc)
